GenericGrid.get_coordinate_dict(meshgrid: bool = False) → dict[str, unyt_array]

Return coordinate arrays in dictionary form with axis names as keys.

Parameters:

meshgrid (bool, default False) – If True, return meshgrid arrays. If False, return 1D arrays.

Returns:

A dictionary mapping axis names to either 1D or meshgrid arrays of coordinates, depending on the value of meshgrid.

Return type:

dict of str -> unyt.array.unyt_array
